HUNÉP Plc. Supported the 54th National First Aid Competition

HUNÉP Plc. supported the 54th National First Aid Competition organised by the Hungarian Red Cross, which was held in Debrecen on 11–12 September, returning to the city after twenty years.

The national final, held in connection with World First Aid Day, brought together teams from across Hungary. A total of 57 teams, comprising nearly 300 participants, put their first aid knowledge and skills to the test in three categories: children, youth and adults.

Participants completed a variety of tasks at 15 stations across Debrecen city centre. In addition to realistic scenarios requiring immediate first aid, they also faced professional and theoretical challenges. The competition therefore tested not only their first aid knowledge, but also their ability to remain calm, work as a team and take responsibility in challenging situations.

At HUNÉP Plc, we believe it is important to support local and national initiatives that create lasting value and strengthen communities. First aid is a vital skill that enables anyone to provide help when it is needed most – and even save a life.

We were pleased to contribute to bringing this long-standing competition back to Debrecen and congratulate all participants on their performance. We would also like to thank the Hungarian Red Cross, its volunteers and everyone involved for their dedicated work in making the event possible.
