The plaque announcing the Construction Industry Excellence Award was inaugurated at the Sauska Winery

At the end of April, the plaque commemorating the Construction Industry Excellence Award was ceremoniously unveiled at the Sauska Winery in Rátka, located in the Tokaj wine region.

The prestigious award, received in 2025 in the “Agricultural Facility” category, was granted by the Construction Industry Master Award Foundation. The recognition not only acknowledges the high quality of construction, but also highlights the complexity of the project and the successful implementation of its unique architectural and interior design solutions. The distinctive design of the Rátka winery and its harmonious integration into the Tokaj landscape elevate the building among the outstanding examples of contemporary Hungarian architecture.

Throughout the realization of the investment, special emphasis was placed on precise engineering work, the application of innovative construction technologies, and the close cooperation of various professional disciplines. HUNÉP Zrt.’s professional expertise and construction capabilities also contributed significantly to the project’s success.

Representatives of the partners involved in the project jointly participated in the plaque unveiling ceremony, including the investor SAUSKA & TÁRSA Winery and Trading Ltd., the designer BORD Architectural Studio Ltd., and the construction companies HUNÉP Zrt. and ART.DOT Ltd. Additional partners contributing to the construction process — Hajdu-Alu Zrt., Dry-Team Ltd., and Ertl Faipari Ltd. — were also present at the event.

The Sauska Winery project has deservedly become one of the defining reference projects of the Hungarian construction industry, where the unity of quality, innovation, and collaboration resulted in an outstanding final outcome.
