SZINPARK: Foundation Stone Laid for Debrecen’s New Logistics Center

On March 7, 2025, in a ceremonial event in Debrecen, the foundation stone was laid for the SZINPARK logistics center, which will offer new industrial and logistical opportunities for businesses in the city. This investment by our SZINORG Group will be implemented on a 110,000 m² site, where, including the phase now underway, a total of approximately 60,000 m² of multifunctional warehouse halls will be constructed in the future—contributing to the expansion of industrial infrastructure and supporting economic development.

The new warehouse facility being built in Debrecen marks an important milestone in the development of the region’s logistics infrastructure. The construction is being carried out by our company, in line with the client’s vision and the highest professional standards. Located in Debrecen’s North-Western Economic Zone, the goal of this development is to provide modern, high-quality warehousing capacities for the companies and logistics service providers operating in the industrial park.

The development will be carried out in several phases. In the first phase, a 25,000 m² storage and logistics center will be built, which can be divided into several units according to future tenants’ needs. It could function as up to four separate units, each 5,000–6,000 m², ensuring flexible usability and adaptability to changing market demands.

During the infrastructure development, special emphasis is placed on sustainability and innovation. The building will feature energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions, meeting the strictest international standards. The aim of the investment is to establish a competitive industrial ecosystem that offers attractive opportunities for both local and international companies.

As the next step in the development of SZINPARK, the SZINORG Group plans to construct additional separate warehouse and production halls on the 110,000 m² development site, depending on market demand. The development of the first building began at the end of 2024; currently, the foundation works of the nearly 25,000 m² multifunctional warehouse are in progress, marking the occasion for today’s foundation stone laying ceremony.
