We are delighted and proud to share that the Sensirion plant in Debrecen, delivered through the construction works carried out by HUNÉP Plc and developed jointly with the investment partner of SZINORG Group, has won 1st place in the Operational Small Projects category at the Financial Times fDi Intelligence Investment Impact Awards 2026.
This category recognises already operational, smaller-scale investments with high added value, where the deciding factors are technological excellence, knowledge intensity, and sustainable operations.
Sustainability criteria played a key role in the evaluation – and the completed facility, together with its related technical solutions, contributed significantly to this performance. Systems supporting fossil-free operation, state-of-the-art building automation, and technical solutions designed for resource efficiency demonstrate how precise execution and a future-ready approach can create real value.
