Football, Community, Charity – This Was the 4th HUNÉP Construction Industry Charity Football Tournament

The 4th HUNÉP Construction Industry Charity Football Tournament once again ended with great success.
Organised for the fourth time, the event attracted significant interest this year as well, offering a lively sporting atmosphere and plenty of shared community experiences. The charity tournament aimed to strengthen unity among construction industry players, celebrate the joy of movement, and promote shared social responsibility — and once again, it fulfilled all its goals.

Over One Hundred Participants – 12 Enthusiastic Teams

More than one hundred participants, representing 12 different companies, competed in small-pitch football matches. The event is becoming increasingly popular: not only did the players enjoy it, but the spectators also followed the matches with great enthusiasm, and the community activities proved to be a huge hit as well.

The day was not only about what happened on the pitch. Alongside the football matches, there was a table football competition and a community cooking session, creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. This year, more families joined in, so while the adults played, the children also enjoyed their own mini tournament on the asphalt pitch — proving that there’s no shortage of future talent. Naturally, medals were also awarded to the young players at the closing ceremony.

In total, 27 matches were played during the tournament, with 54 goals scored. This year’s winners were Rácz Tüzép, who claimed first place with confident and well-deserved performances. The runner-up was once again Topsteel, just like last year, and MAPEI took third place.

Individual Awards – Honouring the Best

Outstanding individual performances were also recognised:

• Best Goalkeeper: Dániel Tóth (Frissbeton)
• Top Scorer: Norbert Könyves (Rácz Tüzép), with 7 goals

A Close Battle in Table Football

The table football competition brought plenty of excitement as well:

• Gold: The Dobik brothers
• Silver: UNIT Trade
• Bronze: Rácz Tüzép duo
  The final was so spectacular that it was hard to find space around the table — the tricks, skilful moves, and passionate cheering made the end of the competition particularly memorable.

For a Good Cause, in a Great Atmosphere

The event’s aim went beyond sport: alongside promoting a healthy lifestyle, the top priority once again was fundraising for charity. As in previous years, the collected amount will be donated to a Clinical Foundation — details will be announced soon.
Every participant contributed to serving a good cause together.
