Together for Recovery – HUF 1 Million Donation to the “Overcoming Paralysis” Foundation

In June 2025, we organised the 4th HUNÉP Construction Industry Charity Football Tournament — an event that has now become not only a tradition but also an outstanding example of our company’s commitment to community building and social responsibility.

Once again, the tournament was held in an energetic, sporty atmosphere, serving a noble cause. Twelve enthusiastic teams and more than 100 employees competed — not only for first place but also to support a cause that is vital for many people.

A Valuable Tool for Stroke Patient Care

The donation will be used to purchase a special medical device that enables the examination and treatment of respiratory complications — such as pneumonia — in stroke patients in intensive care. The equipment is expected to be in use at the clinic from September, helping to ensure more effective treatment and recovery for patients.

“Every year, we support a different area of healthcare,” said Miklós Bakos, CEO of HUNÉP Zrt., at the donation handover. “We have supported the children’s clinic and gastroenterology in the past, and this year we felt it was time to offer help in adult patient care as well.”

We would like to thank all our partners, colleagues, and players for being part of this special day. Beyond the shared experiences, we achieved an important goal: to provide real help for a truly important cause.
