The Foundation of the Department of Pediatrics at the Clinical Centre of the University of Debrecen has received a 1 million HUF donation from HUN\u00c9P Plc.<\/strong> The contribution comes from the proceeds of the 5th Construction Industry Charity Football Tournament organized by the company and will support the purchase of a state-of-the-art cold compression therapy rehabilitation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official donation ceremony took place at the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Debrecen, where D\u00e1vid Szab\u00f3, CEO of HUN\u00c9P Plc., presented the symbolic donation plaque to Dr. Tam\u00e1s Szab\u00f3, Director of the Department of Pediatrics at the Clinical Centre of the University of Debrecen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For HUN\u00c9P Plc., corporate social responsibility is not an occasional initiative but a long-term commitment. In line with this commitment, the company has now organized its Construction Industry Charity Football Tournament for the fifth time. Over the years, the event has become a valued tradition among the company’s partners. Since its inception, the tournament has aimed to harness the community-building power of sport to provide meaningful support for causes that create shared social value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The donation will contribute to the purchase of a modern cold compression therapy rehabilitation system worth HUF 1.2 million. The Game Ready system combines targeted cold therapy with compression treatment, significantly reducing pain and swelling while accelerating the rehabilitation of children recovering from surgery, sports injuries, or other traumatic injuries. With the help of this advanced technology, patients can return to walking, everyday activities, and sports more quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The equipment will be installed at the University of Debrecen Clinical Centre’s Pediatric Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic on Ibolya Street, where recent developments have established a high-quality outpatient rehabilitation service. The new device will complement pediatric traumatology and pediatric orthopedics, further expanding the clinic’s rehabilitation capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Today, the Foundation of the Department of Pediatrics has received a HUF 1 million donation from HUN\u00c9P Plc. This is not the first time the company has supported our work. Thanks to this contribution, we will be able to acquire a modern rehabilitation device that represents a significant advancement in the treatment of sports-related and post-traumatic injuries. Targeted cold compression therapy accelerates recovery and opens up new opportunities in pediatric rehabilitation.
