On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, we handed over the donation of one million forints collected at the 1st HUN\u00c9P Charity Football Cup to the foundation of the Pediatric Clinic at the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen. With this support, the foundation purchased an EMG device suitable for pediatric neurological examinations for the Children’s Clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We held the 1st HUN\u00c9P Charity Football Cup in June 2022, which, besides promoting the joy of physical activity, also served a noble cause: the registration fees collected were rounded up to one million forints and donated to the foundation of the Pediatric Clinic of the University of Debrecen. Partner companies participating in the initiative readily joined the effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The donation was received by Dr. Tam\u00e1s Szab\u00f3, Clinic Director and Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the Children’s Clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-“In the past two years, we have systematically developed pediatric neurology, with the acquisition of the EMG device being one of the most important elements. The foundation spends around 20 million forints annually on modernizing the Children’s Clinic’s equipment. In addition to central developments, we have acquired numerous new instruments from the money donated to the clinic and its foundations,” – <\/em>explained Dr. Tam\u00e1s Szab\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides acquiring instruments, the foundation’s goal is also to support research and staff training at the clinic. With our support, the clinic purchased an 11 million forint EMG device suitable for electrophysiological examinations. This device is one of the best tools for diagnosing various neurological diseases (e.g., migraines and other types of headaches, cerebral circulatory diseases, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, neuropathies, Alzheimer’s disease, etc.), aiding in diagnostics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
